11.14.18 Recap

Signs, miracles and wonders were abounding!!! Get ready sisters! THIS is our new normal!  The way of the early church!  The way God designed the church to be! God promised us in Joel 2:28 that He would pour out His spirit on us and He most surely is. “And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh; your sons and daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, and your young men shall see visions.”

Visions, healing, words of knowledge, speaking in the spirit were all manifested by the power of The Holy Spirit last night. And as Karen said…”this is just the beginning” as confirmed by Little’s vision of the “floodgates”.  The Lord reminded me this morning that Bill Alsop had prophesied this over our ministry on Feb. 28th, 2018 when he came here to do a meeting. Bill said “every door will open abundantly. God is building your armor because of warfare and obedience. You are declaring things and opening Heavens above and beyond what you can think or hope. It’s all going to be worth it as he’s going to pour riches out on you. The enemy will try to put fear on you but it’s not going to happen. You are manifesting glory in your home...spiritual riches.”

Testimonies were flowing and words of knowledge were given and confirmed by several women.  Bill prophesied “fire” over Debbie Wasilak last year.  And it was amazing that several women spoke those same words of knowledge over her last night confirming what Bill had spoken in Feb. I am in utter awe this morning as I am seeing his words come to pass.  I knew the anointing was going to be strong but God always surpasses what I can think, ask or imagine. I’m going to stop here as I really don’t have the words to capture it all. It’s truly life changing to be in the presence of Christ and divinely connected to this many incredibly gifted women. This is the way we are meant to do life...together, eternally bound by His blood, love and grace.  Last night was a triple WOW!!!

For those of you who could not be with us we covered you with an abundance of love and prayer.

After prayer we read a devotion I wrote entitled “Reverse your Worry” which ties in perfectly with Chapter 16. We talked about the importance of being SECOND CIRCLE believers.

Like Elisha’s servant, Gehazi, God wants us to open our eyes and see beyond our problems, understanding that whatever is surrounding us God is already surrounding it. Our peace is dependent on whether we can see the second circle (the supernatural realm).  Great devotion for those struggling with worry and anxiety. (will post on website next week)

Notes from Chapter 16 entitled “The One Thing That Brings Success In Every Area”

What is the ONE thing you can do that will bring success to EVERY area of your life?  Meditating on the Word of God. Yes, your faith grows by hearing the Word of Christ but don’t stop there. As you hear, take hold of what speaks to you, meditate on it, and make it yours. We live in a fear based culture that fills our ears and eyes with negative images of sickness, death poverty and darkness. But praise the Lord we are in the world but not of it.

(John 17:11, 16). In Christ we have been redeemed from the curse and don’t have to live in fear and lack. As the world gets darker and darker, you and I (the church) shines brighter and brighter. The distinguishing factor of the children of God in the stress filled world we live in is a SUPERNATURAL PEACE. It becomes so attractive to them that we won’t even have to preach to them...they will see our peace and they will want to meet the author and Prince of Peace who is Jesus.

Do not start your day with Fox News or CNN. Instead fill your mind with God’s word.  Listen to a grace message while you’re getting ready for school or work. Are you familiar with Psalm 1:1-3?  It a beautiful faith image that you can bring to mind when you start to get stressed. “Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers.”  See yourself like a tree planted by the rivers of water. Notice it say many rivers of water, not just one. This is such a beautiful picture of God’s constant provision, with His rivers of water that are sustaining and refreshing you all the time. Even if one river dries up, there are others that are flowing. You do not have to fear the news reports of disease, terrorist attacks and financial downturns because whatever may be happening around you, even if there is a drought in the land, you will have supply because you are that tree planted rivers of fresh, flowing water. And you are not just randomly placed there.  Your Father planted you there and what He plants He takes care of. Therefore do not see yourself being in lack in any area, but fruitful in all areas of your life. See yourself with leaves that never wither, but instead are always green, fresh and full of sap. See yourself as young, strong, and full of life and energy. Psalm 103:5 says the Lord will cause your youth to be renewed like the eagle’s. In Revelation 22:3 it says “The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.”  This means your health will be evergreen and it will not fail you.  Notice Psalm 1:3 says “whatever he does shall prosper.” What a wonderful promise!  Even if you make a mistake, the Lord can cause it to prosper!

What is the key to being the blessed man planted by rivers of water?

Psalm 1:2 tells us that we are to meditate on God’s Word day and night. What does meditate mean?  It is translated from the Hebrew word “hagah” which means to utter or mutter, to speak in a low voice.  As you speak out the verses you are hearing yourself preach into your situation. Faith comes by HEARING the word of Christ.  In Joshua 1:8 God tells Joshua that the Book of the Law shall not depart from his mouth. So we see that it’s your mouth, not so much your mind, that you use in meditation. Take a word of Scripture and mutter it under your breath day and night “that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it.  For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.”  Meditation and prosperity are linked in both Psalm 1 and Joshua 1. Prosperity is not just about your finances. True prosperity is holistic. It touches EVERY area of your life...your health your relationships, your family and your peace of mind.

Worriers make great meditators.  So if you know how to worry then you know how to meditate. Worry is nothing more than meditating about all the negative things that could happen to you, fearing all the things that could go wrong.  The truth is we are all meditating on something day and night.  What are you meditating on? Work troubles? Relationship problems?  Health challenges? Financial lack?

Would you like to know a better way?  Would you like to live the let to life, letting go of your worries?  You do this by replacing those worries and cares with God’s Word. As soon as the negative thought comes into your head replace it with God’s promise.

Anytime you have a lack of peace it is because something is wrong with your priorities. You may not have time for many things, but you can’t afford not to have daily time in the Word. This is the ONE thing we must do if we want to have PEACE. I really doesn’t take that long to read and memorize just one verse and meditate on it throughout your the day.  Why not try meditating on a verse when you have pockets of free time during the day rather than spending all of your free time checking social media? What do you think will benefit you more, meditating on God’s promises or finding out what your friends made for dinner or what their pets or up to? If you are going through a hardship right now and your thoughts are causing you to panic, stop holding onto your worries. Let go and counter them with His promises. When are being attacked by worrisome thoughts the best remedy is to meditate on God’s word.  Paul told Timothy (1 Timothy 4:15) that whatever you have on the inside will manifest itself on the outside. If you see yourself as healthy and prospering then eventually what you believe will manifest in your physical circumstances. All victory starts in your mind.

BUSY means you are buried under Satan’s yoke. The more we need to accomplish the more we can’t afford to spend time with the Lord and meditate on His Word.  Why is it that the ONE THING (Luke 10:42) Jesus tells us to do is often the only thing we don’t do? One of the most famous and most important scriptures in the Bible is Matthew 6:33.

If only we would take the advice of Jesus.  If only we would start with the Kingdom God will give you the things you seek. If you seek first His kingdom and His righteousness all of the things you have been wearing yourself out to get HE WILL GIVE YOU!

Start today my friend.  Make God a priority in your life. Take a verse and start meditating on it.  When your mind goes to the problem redirect it back to the promise and continue to meditate. Meditating on His Word is the only thing that will drive out the fear and stress.  Light and darkness cannot exist in the same space.
