5.15.19 RECAP

Good Morning Sisters,

Are you discouraged with your life? Ever wished you had someone else’s? Are you ready for a new life filled with peace and joy?

If so, I have some great news for you! A NEW LIFE is exactly what you get when you receive Jesus as your Savior. He takes your old life and gives you HIS life. In Galatians 2:20 Paul said he had been crucified with Christ and that he no longer lived, but Christ lived in Him and the life he was living now, he lived by faith. What did Paul mean by this? How did he go from being so self reliant to putting his trust in Jesus for everything?

Chapter 13 entitled “Learning to Live Inside Out”, discussed HOW to experience this new life Paul is talking about. We learned how we can exercise our faith in God’s promises in order to see them released into our lives. We also learned why NOW is the time to ASK God. We have entered into a very prophetic and powerful time in the history of mankind. We are in the season of the Latter Rain, a season of great harvest and manifestation! A time is which God will intervene in impossible situations. Last Wednesday was the perfect way to usher in this new season of blessings. I received many texts and calls after Ashley Shuell taught and shared her testimony. Indeed, God is raining down on us!

What does the latter rain mean for you, your family, your health and your finances? God promises us supernatural blessing and restoration in 4 areas. While the world strives and stresses depending on their own efforts, talents and strengths we will look up and depend on the Lord.

Lack of knowledge is the main reason preventing God’s children from living the true awesome life that Jesus died for them to have.

Have you ever been so discouraged with the way your life has turned out that you thought or said…”I wish I had someone else’s life?

That is exactly what you get when you receive Jesus as our Savior...He takes you old life and gives you His life.

In Galatians 2:20, Paul said, “I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved and gave himself for me.”

Paul is saying that he had been crucified with Christ and that he no longer lived but Christ lived in him and the life he was living now he lived by faith. This new life was one in which he learned to put his trust in Jesus for everything, rather than putting it in himself or other people. He exchanged his old life for a new life lived in Christ.

Whatever you need & desire is in Him. He is in you & you are in Him. We are made one and have union with Him. Paul said we are to be strengthened through our union with Him. (Ephesians 6:10). If we are in Him, then everything that He is becomes ours, We go to Him empty and He fills us.

Philippians 3:3 says that our confidence is to be in Christ and not in our ability to perform.

We learn to find our worth and value in Him instead of our own works or what we can do.

How do you get God’s promises released into your life? We have to add our diligence to the promises and exercise our faith in them in order to see them released into our lives. Lack of knowledge (ignorance) is the thing that prevents God’s children from living the awesome life Jesus died to give them. They don’t know how to labor into rest. They don’t know that Jesus will heal their soul wounds.

If you can believe it you can have it. Faith is the currency of Heaven.

When we accept Jesus as our Savior, He comes to live on the inside of us and gives us a new nature and a new spirit, both which are His. We are a new creation. Everything that Jesus is comes to live on the inside of us, in our born again spirit. His peace, His joy, His righteousness.

Meditate on this daily & never lose sight of it:

“I am in Christ and He is in me. I am His home, and He is my home.”

We do not get what we need or find our worth and value from the people we attach ourselves to, but only from being in Christ and Him being in us.

It all starts with loving and accepting who you are.

If what you see in the mirror is an example of God’s passion & creativity but you HATE it, how can you really trust Him for your life? You are an example of His most significant work. Make a conscious and intentional decision to embrace yourself. You must love the person God created you to be.

You are Jesus’ home and He is your home. You can talk to Him anytime...He wants a close, personal relationship with you. Everything you need & desire is in Him.

Have you been passive about claiming the promises? Have you come boldly to the throne and asked Him? Or have you held back because you haven’t felt deserving?

We are in the season of the LATTER RAIN! The latter rain is for God’s people. It’s a time of harvest and manifestation. There will be showers of blessings on us. You must ASK!!! You ask based on your righteousness in HIM. This is why we have been studying Identity the last few years...can’t receive the blessings if you are not established in His righteousness. Boldness comes from knowing who you are in Christ.

Without that we will not pray bold prayers and stand patiently for them to manifest.

“Ask the LORD for rain in the time of the latter rain. The LORD will make flashing clouds; He will give them showers of rain, grass in the field for everyone.”

‭‭Zechariah‬ ‭10:1‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

We should PRAY for the latter rain. God will intervene in impossible situations. Prayer is when you ASK God for what He has promised you to manifest. You have an anointing on your life equipping you to do things beyond your smarts & strength. It’s how David killed Goliath. It comes on you for certain tasks. This year God’s anointing on your life will increase. With God’s anointing on your life you will do things with effortless ease.

Pastor Prince encourages us to look up and depend on God for blessings this year. The world can look down and struggle using their own efforts, depending on their own smarts, talents, and strengths. But we will look up and depend on the Lord who cares for us. this year, you can believe God for:

*Supernatural healing and renewal of youth.

*An increase in anointing that will bring good success

*Family blessings and the promise of days like heaven on earth.

*Restoration for all your lost years.

There are 2 types of rain in Israel:

The early rain—in autumn (Oct–Nov)

The latter rain—in spring (Mar–Apr)

God uses the land of Israel—its topography, its seasons, its rains—to teach us. So while the Bible may seem to be speaking of natural things like rains, harvests, or crops, there are hidden spiritual truths for us to learn.

“Ask the LORD for rain in the time of the latter rain. The LORD will make flashing clouds; He will give them showers of rain, grass in the field for everyone.”

‭‭Zechariah‬ ‭10:1‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“flashing clouds” — In Hebrew, this means “lightnings.” The YLT version is more accurate: “They asked of Jehovah rain in a time of latter rain, Jehovah is making lightnings, And rain [in] showers He doth give to them. To each — the herb in the field.”

Have you noticed the weather in this last week? Lots of torrential rain and hail. Since last Sunday’s rainbow (May 5, 2019) the weather has been strange. Monday, the 13th weather was particularly strange...sunshine for a few minutes & then hard rain... did that throughout the day. For all those who have spiritual eyes to see He is showing us that we have changed seasons. We’re in the time of the latter rain.

The first mention of the latter rain in the Bible

“Then I will give you the rain for your land in its season, the early rain and the latter rain, that you may gather in your grain, your new wine, and your oil. And I will send grass in your fields for your livestock, that you may eat and be filled.’”

‭‭— Deut. 11:14–15‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“I will give you the rain for your land in its season” — God sends rain in seasons. If it rains all year, there won’t be a harvest. In Israel, there are 2 times a year when rain falls: In autumn, the early rain falls, and in spring, the latter rain falls.

The early rain came on the day of Pentecost.

Christians have been waiting since then for the latter rain. Latter rains will be greater than the early rains. At the time of the early rain there was no one sick or poor. Everyone was healed. If that can happen in the early rain how much greater can we have during the latter rain?

“When a king’s face brightens, it means life; his favor is like a rain cloud in spring.” Proverbs 16:15

He promises days that will be like Heaven on earth.

God wants you to ASK Him so when you get it you will know HE is the source... you will give Him the credit and glory for it.

Do you want these days of latter rain? Then ASK God for it.

He says it’s for everyone! (Zechariah 10:1). Ask God for grain. God loves it when you look to Him to bless you, not yourself, not to man.

Daniel was a man of great wisdom.  He prayed for the Israelites to be released from slavery in Egypt because he remembered Jeremiah’s prophecy that they would be released in the 70th year. Daniel knew to ASK God for it.

We want showers of blessings!!!

We want to be drenched by the rain. You will look different, in a good way. You will be unrecognizable when you are drenched with the showers of the blessings.

Ezekiel 34:26 says

God always built His temple on a hill. The Church was built on Mt. Zion. He will cause torrential showers to come down on His people.

Joel 2:23 says “Be glad, people of Zion, rejoice in the Lord your God, for he has given you the autumn rains because he is faithful. He sends you abundant showers, both autumn and spring rains, as before.”

This year when the rains come there will be an overflow of harvest...over & above, running over. Wine represents the the blood of Jesus. The lambs of the Old Testament were never beaten or scourged but Jesus was.

By His stripes we are healed.

Joel 2:25 says “And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.”

Communion is not something you just try out... it’s a revelation. Don’t rush to take it. You need the revelation when you take it.

How to live from the inside out?

Instead of trying to follow all the rules and regulations so you feel like you have some value you learn that you are given value by the fact that Jesus died for you and has made you His home. You draw daily from His supply to you.

DEPOSITS

God makes a deposit in us of all the things He expects us to produce in our lives. He puts it in, and we let it come out. For example, He first lives is, so we can have the ability to live others.

(1 John 4:19)

Jesus left us His peace (John 4:27) so we could be peaceful in every situation that we encounter in life.

If we live, dwell, & remain in Him, and let His Word live, dwell and remain in us, God’s Word promises is that we will beat much good fruit (John 15:5). When we become Christians, it’s not a life of behavior modification, but one of learning to do live with Jesus. To live, dwell, & remain in Him means to fellowship  with Him, lean on Him, trust in Him, rely on Him, learn His Word, and talk to Him about everything all the time. He is our source for ALL good things. Learn to live inside out and your behavior will become more like Jesus. Focus more on who you are in Christ, rather than struggling to modify your behavior.

Do you remember in the book of Exodus how very detailed & precise God was in His instructions about the building His tabernacle? Think about how precise & detailed He was in creating and forming each of His children. He has fashioned each of us as a suitable home in which He can dwell. He took great care in forming us and was precise about each detail of our temperament, talents and abilities, the color of our eyes and hair, the skin tone we have, how tall we are, & every other detail of our creation. The good news is that we are not a mistake. There may not be things you like about yourself you need to make peace with all the aspects of the way you were created. Instead of making yourself miserable for wishing for what you don’t have, make s decision to accept and love yourself and do the best with what you have.

Meditate on Psalm 139... chapter that shares how God formed us.

He personally formed you with His own hand in your mother’s womb, and you are fearfully and wonderfully made. You are not a mistake. You are God’s amazing design!

Love,

Sherry :-)
