Do You Need Healing?

Do you need healing? According to Jesus how do you get healed of sickness in your physical body? Has God hidden secrets to healing in His word? Is the Holy Communion your seed to healing? Why does some get healed and others do not when taking Communion?

If you are battling symptoms in your body or given a negative report from the doctor know that health and healing are yours through Jesus’ finished work. Healing is our inheritance in Christ. The word of God tells us by His stripes we are healed. God gave you the Holy Communion, His ordained channel, to break free from everything that is keeping you in defeat. The Holy Communion brings life! John 6:48-54 Then Jesus says to them “Most assuredly l, I say to you, unless you eat (estheo - eat) the flesh of the  Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you.” This is not talking about spiritual food. He is talking about the Holy Communion. Healing is your inheritance in Christ. Christians should be taking Communion everyday to reign over sickness,  depression and all kinds of long term conditions. How do you get wine? How do you get bread? It’s ALL crushed! Unless the grapes are broken and stepped upon then it can’t be wine. Unless the dough is crushed it cannot become bread. Jesus came to be crushed so that ALL that HE is... life, health, wholeness, abundance,prosperity, grace and goodness...will all flow out into your life.

1 Corinthians 11:29-30 says “For those who eat and drink without discerning the body of Christ eat and drink judgment on themselves. That is why many among you are weak and sick, and a number of you have fallen asleep.” Communion is the proof of our healing...the proof of our forgiveness. The evidence is the blood of Jesus. We don’t take communion to get healed... we take it to remind ourselves that we are already healed. Not discerning the Lord’s body is the biggest problem in the body of Christ today. Do you see Jesus’ body when you take Communion? Or do you just see a piece of bread and a cup of wine? You eat the bread as the broken body of Jesus. We rob ourselves of the provision because we fail to discern the Lord’s body. Jesus body was broken for our health. When you partake communion like it’s a ritual there is no power to heal in it. The Lord’s supper is the answer to life and wholeness. Corinthians 11:30 tells us clearly that we get sick and weak because we are not partaking of the Lord’s supper. Often, the Lord’s supper heals you increasingly, gradually. But many times we give up before it manifest.

Why does Jesus speak in Parables? God does not give His best riches for those who have no heart for it. So He speaks to them in parables so that the ones who are hungry will search the parable and get wonderful secrets from him. Are you ready to receive some secrets that the devil does does want you to have, secrets to your harvest? The disciples ask Jesus to explain the parable of the sower in Matthew 13-18-23. This parable reveals of receiving a miracle, the secrets of the devil’s devices. Jesus shared this parable on a boat in a lake. A sower went out  sowing seeds and some seeds fell on the wayside. Birds came and devoured them.  Some seeds fell on stony ground and because there is no depth, no earth, no roots  it sprang up quickly and when the sun came out it was scorched. The next seeds fell among thorns and the thorns choked the seeds and they died. The seeds sown on good ground brought 30 fold, 60 fold, 100 fold harvest. After sharing this parable he went to Peter’s house and the disciples asked Jesus to explain the meaning of this parable to them. Jesus said if you don’t understand this parable you can’t understand any parable as it is the mother of all parables. (This parable is shared by Matthew, Mark and Luke. Not all of the parables shared by Jesus are in three gospels. This one is because it is SO important) Jesus says to them “it is given to you to know.” As God’s children it is given for us to know. As God’s children we have a secret to the covenant. We have the key to the inheritance.

Jesus explained the parable in Matthew 13:18-23 “Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower. When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side. But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it; Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended. He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful. But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.”

The birds here are Satan, evil spirits will take away the seed when you don’t understand it. The enemy knows that if God’s word stays in your heart long enough it will mean his defeat and will result in your victory and blessing. He wants to steal God’s word from your heart to prevent your healing. This is why it is SO important for you to keep hearing the word of God. The four grounds are four types of human hearts. The sower is the one preaching the word. The seed is the word of God. This seed today is about Holy Communion.

How do you respond to that seed? It is not the responsibility of the sower on which ground it falls. It is up to YOU to make sure your heart is good ground. When I teach not everyone receives the teaching the same way. Some are the seeds fall on stony ground, some thorny ground, some are good ground and some fall to the wayside. The first seed is the WAYSIDE seed...those who don’t understand the word. So Satan comes and snatches away the word in their hearts. The second ground is STONY ground. Many people are under this ground. This heart has no depth. At first he is joyful but then Satan starts attacking him because of the word he has received and he becomes offended. The trouble did not come because he did wrong...it came because he received the word. Persecution comes because of the word and he becomes offended. The enemy does not want you to pursue God’s ways. For example, a family starts taking communion and the next day the dad has pain in his body. Satan has launched an attack to remove the word. This means that communion is powerful or else he wouldn’t bother. He gives you lying symptoms to try and convince you that God’s word is not true. Now the man wants to stop receiving God’s word because it brought trouble, not understanding that it is the word of God that produces the miracle, the harvest.

The third ground is THORNY ground. The scripture tells us that the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, thinking of money all the time is actually “thorns”. Jesus wore a crown of thorns. He took the stress, the cares of this life. Economic downturns cause believers to fall into this category. They start worrying about their finances and how they are going to make ends meet. Jesus tells us not to worry about these things because when we do we choke the word. These believers feel they don’t have time for communion, they don’t have time for the word because they have to be out and about making a living, working overtime or else there will be no money. They are not partaking blessings God’s way. The last ground is GOOD ground. Are you interested in being on good ground? The person on good ground understands the word. The key here is that he UNDERSTANDS it! Understanding it means to HEAR IT and RECEIVE it! You must make the word YOURS! The harvest cones 30, 60, 100 fold. This means it comes increasingly, gradually. Your healing works like a harvest. It is for those who are devoted with revelation. Start taking communion, forget about your symptoms and go about your business. When a farmer sows a seed he arises night and day, the seed grows by itself and he knows not how.  He doesn’t concern himself with HOW. You won’t know how eating a piece of bread and drinking wine can heal you. You don’t have to concern yourself with it. The word will produce seed by itself. It has the power to produce seed by itself. Don’t ask HOW. HOW is the Lord’s business, not yours. He specializes in that and He knows HOW. Luke 8:15 says “that on the good ground are they, which is an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and BRING FORTH FRUIT WITH PATIENCE”. Patience means to persevere. When you receive the word and tomorrow when the opposite happens what do you do? You persevere! Keep having communion! Keep on believing! You will bring forth fruit with patience! Hebrews 10:36 says that without patience and endurance we will not receive the promises of God. Hebrews 6:12 tells us that it is only through faith and patience that we inherit the promises. Patience means that there are adverse circumstances against that word. Patience means you are fighting against contradictory symptoms in your body that are screaming “the word is a lie, the word is a lie”. Persevere with God’s word and it will bring forth fruit! Don’t give up! You bring forth fruit with perseverance! It brings forth a 30, 60, 100 harvest. This pertains to any area of your life.

The moment you hear that someone you love has been given a bad diagnosis by a doctor encourage them to take communion once a day. Take it as your medicine. Persevere, see the results and receive more life! Will you start taking communion? Will you bring forth the fruit of patience? If you start taking it and the opposite happens you know the trick of the devil. He is trying to get you to stop. See this as a great sign knowing that the fruit will be there if you persevere. Don’t throw in the towel at the first sign of trouble...the first sign of contradictory symptoms or adverse circumstances. Lean on the Lord and He will give you the ability to persevere, to fight through with your faith. Take communion discerning the Lord’s body...understanding that it is His body which has all the power, all the virtue, to remove the disease out of your system.
