RECAP of Pentecost

Good Morning Sisters,

“We need to meet in the upper room at your home on Pentecost”.  These words were spoken to me back in January by one of our Intercessors. She reminded me last week of what the Lord had spoken to her, having no idea of the things that would transpire in our world over the last two months. So we gathered our leadership team and intercessors in my upper room last night two hours before our praise call. WOW!!! Never have I felt the power of the Lord manifest in that way. The Lord sealed so much in the spirit realm before we got on the call. The rushing wind of the Spirit was on us ALL! When women unite in one spirit, bound by the love of Christ, surrendering themselves to the power of the Holy Spirit all Hell trembles and quakes. The things that are happening in our nation are no surprise to the Lord. He ordained and orchestrated our divine connections and is working through us to bring love, unity and reconciliation to a lost and broken world. My home was consecrated to the Lord many years ago and has been a place of worship and refuge for many women. Until last night we had never worshiped together in the upper room...all of our fellowship had been downstairs in my living room. This is significant. It signifies a shift, a change, a new beginning. We sat on the floor in a circle, holding hands and prayed out of our spirits and in the spirit.  We prayed over you and your families.  We prayed for the church to wake up and take back all of the territory the enemy has stolen. We prayed God’s plans and purposes into the earth. We declared, we decreed and took dominion over our homes, our communities and our nation. We came boldly to the throne with our petitions, praising Jesus for the finished work. The enemy knows he is on borrowed time and he feels the ground beneath him shake. Satan and his dark angels are scared as the strongholds of racism, fear, hatred and separation are beginning to shatter. As the daughters of the King rise up in their dominion and authority they lose power.  The fuel they use is FEAR. When you replace the fear with faith they fall like dominoes in the spirit realm. You see, you can’t fight demons with flesh. You will lose every time. You must battle  them in the spirit realm. This is why Pentecost is so powerful! The Holy Spirit is our atomic bomb. It activates the supernatural. It destroys them. They don’t see it coming. The Holy Spirit is what powered the disciples to take the gospel to the world and transform it.  Praying in tongues is the most misunderstood of all of the spiritual gifts. The power of the church is the power to pray. 1 Corinthians 14:2-4 says "For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the spirit he speaks mysteries. But he who prophesies speaks edification and exhortation and comfort to men. He who speaks in a tongue edifies himself, but he who prophesies edifies the church." It is the prayer language of the Holy Spirit. It allows the Holy Spirit to make intercession for you that bypasses your brain.  When you pray in tongues you are praying the plans and purposes of God past human understanding. You are praying God's mysteries, plans and purposes into the earth. And now God can get them into the earth because you asked Him. God wants you to have everything you need. Between Heaven and Earth there is a place where the Prince of the Power of the airs operate, where Satan, the God of this world operates, so God has to get your supply from Heaven through this place, to you, on earth. And for Him to do that He must have YOUR authority. As a believer you are seated at the right hand of your father...this means you have AUTHORITY. Satan is an illegal alien on the earth. He shouldn't be here. Adam let him in. But you and  I are legal. When we pray in the spirit we are praying the WILL of God and then God can legally send that plan into the earth. God's plans are called mysteries. The English word "mystery" means a sacred secret. When one prays in the spirit by the Holy Spirit you are praying the plans and purposes of God and God can then get them into the earth because a man asked Him. Tongues is an expression by the spirit in different languages, languages of angels and of man. It's a spiritual weapon that when you use it you do not feel differently. Many times when you're praying nothing seems to happen but something most definitely is! You're tapping into the river! This is a gift the world does not have. It is the first gift God gave to His church on Pentecost, the day of its birth! He gives you the prayer language of the Holy Spirit. He gave us His BEST! It will tame and humble your mind because the mind is always the boss. It must always "understand." The Bible says to not lean on your own understanding. You don't have to understand everything to enjoy it. Your mind is slow. Your spirit is lightning fast. Your spirit can catch things long before your mind can understand it. When you are praying in tongues you are activating your spirit. That is REST. You don't have to close your eyes while praying in tongues. You can be driving, cooking, playing sports, etc. We should pray in the spirit everyday. It is the absolute best way to handle stress and worry. The very minute you feel an anxious thought start praying in tongues. Dr. Carl Peterson, psychiatrist at Oral Roberts Uni., conducted an experiment on people's brains studying the physiological effects of praying in tongues. This what what he concluded: "As we pray in the Spirit, there is activity that begins in our brains.As we engage in our heavenly language, the brain releases two chemicals that are directed into our immune systems giving a 35 to 40 percent boost to our immune system. This secretion is triggered from a part of our brain that has no apparent activity in humans.” Only those praying tongues activate this part of the brain. There is no medicine, no  homeopathy, no alternative medicine, no exercise... there is NOTHING that gives the immune system a 35-50% boost! Did you know that your immune system can swallow any tumor that is forming in your body if it is strong?  This is the KEY to praying...you can pray for things that have not yet happened, you can pray to avoid evil days that are supposed to happen and you can pray into the future.  What’s next? The Lord is now leading us into the next phase of our journey together. We will have our “Women of Faith” study this Wednesday (starting June 3rd @ 7:00 pm)  and Prayer and Praise nights on Thursday and Sunday @ 7pm. Our study is “A Shepherd’s Look at Psalm 23”, by Phillip Keller. (may be purchased through Amazon ). The Lord led us to this study right before quarantine and now we know WHY!!! It is for NOW and is for YOU my beloved sister.  It is a psalm of protection and provision. We will start from the beginning.  We will do one chapter per week. Please read Chapter One for this Wednesday’s study.  In this new season we will plan month to month as the Lord leads. We will continue to meet virtually through Zoom in June. I will send out new links.  As you know the free service we use through Zoom cuts off at 40 minutes. Starting this Wednesday we are able to extend our time and also record our calls. Praising Jesus for donations to the ministry enabling us to have a paid subscription through Zoom.
