Mountain Dissolver

Are you a mountain climber or a mountain dissolver?
Do you believe the unbelievable?
If you are not believing the unbelievable you’re really not believing at all. Everything in the Bible is unbelievable and impossible. It is packed full of supernatural events that to the physical world seem inconceivable. To name just a few…Sarah had a baby when she was 90 years old, Jesus was born of a virgin, Moses parted the Red Sea, Jesus fed 5,000 people with 5 loaves of bread and two fish, a talking donkey, and Peter literally walked on top of the water. God tells us that when we believe the “unbelievable” we receive the “impossible.”
Do you believe what Jesus says about YOU? When you have a mountain in your life do you try to climb it or dissolve it? Do you have a problem telling the mountain where to go? Most people don’t have a problem telling other people where to go but when it comes to a problem in their life they seem frozen in their tracks. Mark 11:23-24 says… For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them”. Jesus clearly tells us in this scripture to SPEAK to our mountain and say “be thou removed and be cast into the sea”! Think about it… the only place you can hide a mountain is in the ocean. He did not tell us to “climb” the mountain…he told us to “speak” to the mountain. If you haven’t gotten to the other side of your deliverance you’re trying to climb the mountain as opposed to dissolving it. Yesterday, God gave me a revelation about King David that clearly illustrates how important it is to spend time with Him. David spent his younger years all alone in the field tending sheep in a field near Bethlehem. During these long hours of solitude he learned a few skills that would profoundly influence the rest of his life. He learned how to throw stones, play the harp and compose songs. He wrote over 73 of our Psalms in the Bible. The formative years of his life was spent memorizing, meditating and singing God’s word. He was filling his mind and his MOUTH with the promises of God. Later when he had to confront Goliath, a 9 ft Philistine warrior, he was supernaturally equipped for the battle. He SPOKE to Goliath saying…” Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied. This day will the LORD deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the carcasses of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel. And all this assembly shall know that the LORD saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle [is] the LORD'S, and he will give you into our hands. Suddenly David hurls the stone in his sling and brings the enemy champion down. Then with Goliath’s own sword David decapitates him, and he returns to camp with the trophies of war, the giant’s head and sword. That, my friend, is a young man who KNOWS and TRUSTS God in an intimate way. David knew the power of SPEAKING and BELIEVING God’s word! As you can see, God put David in a place that would physically and spiritually prepare him for victory. But it was David’s CHOICE to make. He chose to use His time wisely and invest in God’s word. When it came time to throw that stone David hit Goliath head on. What has God been preparing you for my friend? When you take a moment to reflect back on your life your will see a pattern. You will see that God has been preparing you your entire life for something great. Just like David, he is preparing you to believe the “impossible” so he can do the “unbelievable.” Are you ready?
Why was David so confident? Was he confident in his ability or God’s ability? David was God confident! He relied on God’s strength and power rather than his own. His confidence came from knowing that God has his back! He didn’t go by what he saw in the natural. After all, David was tiny, frail and inexperienced compared to this huge, muscular 9ft warrior giant. But David was not distracted by what he saw because he knew what the word promised him and he firmly stood on that. David had spent a lot ALONE TIME with God and trusted Him as his deliverer. When he confronted Goliath he was not boasting of his own ability but of God’s greatness. Day after day in the field he spoke (& sang) the word of God out of his mouth so when he was confronted with a battle he was ready. He dissolved his mountain by speaking words of faith out of his mouth. It is important to note that he just didn’t SAY the words he BELIEVED those words. Many times we’ll speak the words out of our mouths but we don’t really believe them in our hearts. We don’t believe them because we haven’t invested the time to mull over them and meditate over them. The words must go from our head down to our hearts. Other times we pray and then negate our prayers with words of worry, doubt and unbelief. Why is that? It’s because we don’t see ourselves the way God sees us. It is time invested in God’s word that transforms our minds. Before we accept Christ, our minds have been programmed by the world and we see ourselves the way the world sees us. The world has defined us by our shortcomings and limitations. Since birth the world has told us we are “not enough.” Before Christ we are always fighting FOR the victory rather than fighting FROM victory. Before Christ we are trying to climb up the mountain as opposed to dissolving the mountain.
Once you are saved you must reprogram your mind with God’s Word. You must see yourself the way God sees you. In order to do this you must READ His word to find out HOW He sees YOU! It is essential to your victory! Once you start you won’t be able to stop! It’s so uplifting! He is such a positive, can do God! We must prepare like David did. We must spend more time with God than we do in the world. A few years ago I remember really being into reality TV shows. They were the last thing I watched before I went to bed. Many mornings I would wake up feeling down, depressed and lacking energy. I was filling my mind with junk. I was filling my soul with toxic, worldly things that had no power to lift me up or change my life. I was giving Satan access into my mind through the TV. Now I go to bed filling mind with God’s promises. What a difference it makes in the peace of my day! Does this mean you’ll never have a problem? No, if you are a Christian you are on Satan’s #1 enemy hit list. He promises to attack hard and to attack often. But God promises us that Jesus has already won the victory for us through the blood of Jesus and all we have to do is SPEAK it and then BELIEVE it to claim our victory! Once you believe what you’re speaking your actions will line up with your words. After David SPOKE to Goliath he then ACTED by throwing his stones and Goliath was defeated! His actions FOLLOWED his words!
The bottom line is this…When you pray BELIEVE what you pray for. You must know the will of God for your life! The will of God is for you TO LIVE LONG and PROSPER. Remember, 3 John 2…”Beloved, I pray that you live long and prosper in ALL things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.” God makes a way when there is no way. God has a thousand ways to answer every prayer you’ve ever prayed. God is greater than the enemies that surround you, greater than the moral and financial collapse of this world, greater than the financial dilemma you face and greater than any sickness in your body! God wants to dissolve your mountain! Religion made you a mountain climber. Jesus has made you a mountain dissolver! Claim your victory today in the name of Jesus Christ my friend! God has an exciting destiny just waiting for YOU!
God Bless You,
Love,
Sherry :-)
