14 Days of Prayer Part 2: Day 6

Good Morning Sisters,

God’s anointing was surely flowing through our sister Ashley last night ! I love how real, raw and on point her messages are. POWERFUL!!! Thank you Lord Jesus for the revelation of the finished work. Thank you for the liberation that came from tonight’s teaching. You are shouting REST and FREEDOM to your people!!!

The theme of Ashley’s message was Humble Yourself in Grace. (notes below)

She answered the question “What does it look like to humble yourself?” I think many Christians are bound in Old Covenant thinking about what it means to humble themselves. Ashley did a wonderful job of explaining how humility should look in our lives today... how we should be positioning ourselves in REST...in the finished works of Christ. It takes time to switch our minds  from law to grace. Our flesh is full of pride and wants to make everything about us. As we renew our minds with His truth and grace we experience more and more freedom. Freedom from worry, fear and anxiety...a peace that surpasses all human understanding. The only striving we are called to do is to enter into HIS REST.

The truth is we simply cannot humble ourselves enough to save our nation. Jesus ALREADY DID IT...HE gets ALL the glory! It’s a form of pride for us to think that it’s up to us to bring healing to our nation. JESUS took Covid-19 on His body at the cross. HE defeated it! JESUS already paid the price! That’s why He said “IT IS FINISHED.” Now, it’s up to you and I to get into agreement with Him.

As Ashley put it...it all comes down to TRUST. Are we trusting in ourselves or in the finished works of Christ? Do you know our inheritance? Do you want everything Jesus paid for?

Words cannot capture the rich and deep revelatory waters the Lord is taking us into. Each night our minds are being renewed and transformed. Shackles, strongholds and old patterns of wrong thinking are being broken. God is preparing our vessels for NEW WINE!

One of my favorite Ashley quotes of the night was “If it’s coming against me then it’s gotta work for me.

Today is day 6 of our “14 Days of Prayer”. Karen April will be leading.

Please reach out to neighbors, friends and family and invite them on the call. So many need hope and encouragement.

We look forward to praying with you.

Ashley’s Notes

Humble Yourself in GRACE!

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will heal their land (2 Chronicles 2:14)

In order for us to be saved / rescued from the plague I must humble myself and therefore my land will be healed (it’s all about YOU).... when do we humble ourselves enough to know we passed the criteria?

The answer is found in JESUS!  He already fulfilled the law for the land to be healed …. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death-- even death on a cross! Philippians 2:8

Can we humble ourselves more than Jesus?

So then what is this…... 1 Peter 5:6 humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God (set aside self righteous pride) so that He may exalt you at the appropriate time, casting all your cares (all your anxieties, all your worries, and all your concerns, once and for all) on Him, for He cares about you with deepest affection and watches over you very carefully

How are we humbling ourselves by believing He cares about me with the deepest affection and watches over me carefully.. therefore entering and operating in a posture of rest, seated with Christ, saying we can’t because God already did is truly HUMBLING!  God we look to YOU!  This is not a humbling so COVID-19 is defeated, JESUS did that, do you really want that pressure? - we must put our eyes back on JESUS and this perfect time of celebrating Jesus’ death and resurrection is divinely timed.. It’s a humbling of self righteousness (pride).. The deeper truth and the heart of the matter is - it's the orphan in us, insecure and unable to rest because we have yet to experience His perfect love

Casting our cares is sandwiched between humbling oneself and being undevourable ----

Abba takes cares of me - Jesus finished the work

Therefore I can cast my care

And now I’m positioned to be undevourable

If it's up to ME I can’t enter that REST therefore I cannot cast my cares and therefore become devourable - not because the enemy is more powerful but because I’m easily deceived to think I can save myself… our nation must yield to its Creator and Sustainer to see Heaven invade earth.
