14 Days of Prayer: Day 14

Good Morning Sisters,

I pray that the words that Stacy spoke and prayed over us last night are sealed in our hearts. Magnifying HIS name above all other names is the message of the hour. What we magnify we enlarge. As people of God we don’t pray the problem we pray the solution. As our Father did to create this world we speak to the darkness, not about it. I pray that we will embrace the fire that He is releasing. Jesus had to die of His will and His way. We must do the same. We simply can’t live, think, talk or act like the world. We must be willing to go through the fire (trials) and allow it to purify our hearts and transform us into His image. This is why we’re here. We must be people who love the correction and conviction of God. We must ask God to shine His light into those dark areas of our lives and reveal them to us. We cannot confront that which we cannot see. For many years I lived a very selfish, self focused life. I was blinded by it, not realizing that it was destroying my soul. There is no joy in selfishness. There is no joy in self occupation.  Today is our 14th (last) day of our 14 days of prayer. Elaine is leading.  The Lord has answered our prayers regarding how we are to move forward after Tues.  We are to take a 2 day break (rest) and then on Friday (4/3) begin another 14 days of prayer.  This will take us through the last day of Passover which is the 16th. (Passover 4/8-4/16) 14 Days of Prayer (part 2)  4/1-4/2 Break (rest) 4/3-4/16 7:00 pm Passover is one of the Jewish religions most sacred holidays. It commemorates the emancipation of the Israelites from slavery in ancient Egypt. It’s very important for us as Christians to understand the importance of Passover as there are many parallels of what we are facing today. God showed His power through the miracles surrounding Passover. Through the Passover and Exodus, the God of Israel was manifested and glorified for all to see.  I believe God is going to do the same for us today. As we MAGNIFY the name of Jesus, surrender to His will and His ways we will see signs, wonders and miracles manifest in ways we have never seen! Just like the Israelites were confined to their homes when the angel of death went over their homes, so are we. What did they do during this quarantine? They put the blood of the lamb over their doors. They were saying that the blood was greater. They magnified the Lord. We must do the same! We apply the blood by declaring and decreeing! By speaking the Word of God over our family, communities, nation and world. By speaking faith and not fear. We must get in alignment with the kingdom.  Smith Wigglesworth says “fear looks at things. Faith jumps and takes them.” The way we take what Jesus has already paid for at the cross is with our mouths (Proverbs 18:21). Faith takes by speaking God’s promises. There are 5,467 of those in God’s Word, a promise for every problem. When we speak the problem we are aligning ourselves with Satan and giving him open access into our lives. There are only two camp's and we get to choose. We choose each day by the things we watch, by the things we listen to, by the things we choose to read. Proverbs 4:23 says “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.” Simply put, what we put in comes out especially during times of trial. If you desire a good nights sleep don’t listen to the news before you go to bed. It allows fear into your heart. Listen to a grace message. My husband Kent has had tinnitus for several years. It’s very hard to fall asleep with a constant buzzing in your ears. So every night he falls to sleep listening to the Word of God. This Word not only gives him rest at night but has forged a steely confidence inside his soul that keeps him full of joy despite his circumstances.  May we magnify our Lord Jesus above the storm! May we speak and declare His promises!!! Simply click HERE to join the meeting at 7pm. (the link is the same but attaching it as new people join us each night). I look forward to praying with you tonight!  Please share with neighbors, friends and family as so many need prayer, encouragement and support. Love, Sherry :-)
