Good Afternoon Sisters,
Another wonderful night of prayer! Each night we go deeper into His presence. Thank you Karen for leading us. I always look forward to hearing Karen teach and lead intercession as she is a strong woman of faith and is grounded in truth. Before praying she encouraged us to use this time as an opportunity to draw closer to Him, to partner with Him and sow into the lives of others. Women loving women and supporting one another is at the very heart of God.
There are so many prayer requests right now. So much fear and uncertainty in the world. Many are having trouble sleeping at night and hearts are heavy with worry and anxiety. People need hope and a peace that only comes through a relationship with Christ. To keep the fear out we must guard our hearts. We do this by being intentional with what we’re listening to and what we’re watching. Faith comes by hearing. Fear comes in the same way. You hear your way into the pit of fear and depression. You hear your way out of it. Turn off the news and fill your house with praise music. Listen to uplifting messages on grace. Start a gratitude journal. Soak yourself in the Word and speak it out loud. Look for ways to lift others up. As you encourage others you are encouraged. Call a friend you haven’t talked to in a while and reconnect. Go through your phone directory and choose three people each day to send uplifting texts to. As you sow good so you shall reap. What did Jesus do while on this earth? He went about doing good.
What you focus on you enlarge. We must MAGNIFY the name of Jesus above all else! His name is above ALL names. As I was going to bed last night I heard the Lord say again...“who did David focus on as he was running toward Goliath? Who did he magnify? He magnified the Lord! That’s what we must do right now. We need to stop talking about the virus and start talking about the GOODNESS of our God. Magnify HIS name!
We need to flood social media with HOPE, the airwaves with HIS name! There is power in HIS NAME! This is why the enemy has tried to silence us by keeping us distracted and focused on everything but Jesus. He knows the power of the cross!
God doesn’t send bad things but He does use them for our good. He is using this time of isolation for our good (Philemon 1:6 "Our faith is effective when we acknowledge everything good"). It has slowed us down, reconnected us with our families and given us time to spend with Him and hear His voice. This deep intimacy is preparing us for His glory that will manifest during this era. As Karen said...”when this over we will not be the same.”
Have you ever heard of British Evangelist Smith Wigglesworth? He was a plumber who started his ministry in his 50’s. He was one of the greatest faith healers of our time. Without human refinement or education he was able to tap into the infinite resources of God to bring divine grace to multitudes. I believe one of the secrets to his success was that He never spoke of the enemy during his meetings. Like David he gave no voice to the enemy. He only magnified the Lord Jesus and His goodness. Thousands came to Christ in his meetings, hundreds were healed of serious diseases as supernatural signs followed his ministry. He had a deep intimacy with the Lord that he attributed to his prayer life. He said he never went more than 15 minutes without praying. His power came from the One He magnified. I believe that we will see MANY faith healers like Smith emerge from this time.
As we turn our complaints into praises and our worry into worship we will see Gods power manifest in ways we have never seen.Praise Him sisters! Magnify His name!!!
Tonight is our 12th day of prayer. Michele Bandy is leading our call. We look forward to praying with you.

"Great faith is a product of great fights. Great testimonies are the outcome of great tests. Great triumphs can only come out of great trials." Smith Wigglesworth
