Hello Sisters,
Did you see Judith’s video??? It was posted on our Sherry Braswell Ministries Facebook Page yesterday morning inviting women to our prayer call. If not, you really need to watch it as it created the atmosphere for our night. When Judith Street prays the demons in hell shake and quiver. She has a powerful voice, a boldness and authority to declare truth in a time when our world is filled with lies and deceit. I knew when I watched the video we were going to have an unprecedented night of intercession. And we surely did! This amazing woman of God was sent to our nation from her home in Jamaica for a time such as this!
The song that was playing in the background while she spoke was “Nothing Else Will Do”.
She said “In this season God is calling us to create a holy habitation for His presence to come and dwell here, His presence will override any fears, His presence will override anything that is trying to attack us. His presence gives us joy on the inside.”
As I meditated on these words last night the Lord led me to prophet Lana Vawser’s latest post. These words literally jumped off the page at me because these are the words of the song and the words the Lord had revealed to me more than two years ago. The words were “Nothing else but Jesus.” We are in a time where JESUS needs to be our ONE and ONLY focus! Our eyes must be focused on HIM and not be distracted by the media and the fear filled voices of the world. He wants to gaze into HIS eyes and encounter Him in deeper ways than we ever have. He wants us to MAGNIFY HIS NAME. When David was running toward Goliath to kill him he was focused on the Lord...he was magnifying HIS strength and authority, not his own.
The Church NEEDS to be deep in the Word right now. God is releasing unprecedented depths of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of who He is (Ephesians 1:7) and deeper understanding of His ways. (Isaiah 55:8). We are seeing an AWAKENING of God’s people across the whole world right now...a corporate awakening to the power of prayer across the earth unlike anything we’ve ever seen. We are going into time where we will see signs, miracles and wonders. We will see the most miraculous answers to prayer we have ever seen.
MAGNIFY HIS NAME!!! MAGNIFY HIS NAME!!! Psalm 34:3 says “O magnify the Lord, with me, and let us exalt His name together.” Lift up the name of Jesus LOUDLY over everything going on in the earth and in our lives right now. Lana says we are in the era where the stage is being set for the King of Glory (Psalm 24:7-9). This is the era of the unveiling of Jesus like we’ve never seen.
“For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.” (Habakkuk 2:14).
What we focus on we produce. This is a “birthing” moment of the church. We will manifest what we focus on. The Lord showed me that the realm between the natural realm and the supernatural realm is very thin and the atmosphere is very sensitive to our words. Out of the heart the mouth speaks. We will speak what we think about. And we will think about what we allow through our ear and eye gates. Therefore, we need to guard our hearts because we will manifest what we magnify in our thought life. The battlefield is in our minds.
The Lord is drawing us into a deeper place of focusing on Him alone. He wants us to rest in the shelter of His wings. He wants to be our shelter, our safe place.
It must be Jesus alone that we magnify...not the fear that is trying to distract us from His presence. As we humble ourselves before Him and seek His heart, He is unveiling wisdom to us of what He is doing. We must take a position of humility, not pride. We must be SPEAKING what HE is speaking. We must be declaring His love, His hope, His promises and His redemption. Matthew 26:53 tells us that armies of angels are sent from heaven based on the decree of His Word.
Our King is inviting us to partner with Him and pray! To fill our homes with His song, His voice, His power. Through us He is shining His light onto a lost and hurting world. When we see how fear has gripped the heart of our nation through this virus we see how desperately we need our SAVIOR. HE is the answer the world is seeking!
Tonight is our 11th day of Prayer. Praising Him that each night we are seeing more women join us on the calls. Our beloved sister Karen April will be leading.
I look forward to praying with you. Please share with neighbors, friends and family as so many need prayer, encouragement and support.
Simply click HERE to join the meeting at 7pm. (the link is the same but attaching it as new people join us each night).
Love,
Sherry :-)
A Prayer for Those Who Are Ill with Coronavirus
Father God, You are the ultimate Healer. Father, we come before You to pray for those infected with this virus. We pray for not only their healing but for them to be comforted while they heal. Lord, please eradicate every ounce of this virus from their bodies. Please heal every cell in their bodies, every infected part of their being. We pray for no lasting effects in their bodies from this illness. Father, please heal them inside and out and provide them with the medical care they need, with the medications they need, and with the healing not only physically but spiritually so that they may live life and life abundantly ahead. In Jesus’ name, Amen
A Prayer for Those Who Are Worried about the Spread of the Coronavirus
Father, Worry and fear are not of Your heart. 1 John 4 reminds us that perfect love casts out all fear, and we pray Your perfect love upon the hearts of all those who are burdened with the fear of this virus. Lord, we know with no doubt that You are bigger than the threat of anything, especially illnesses. Please comfort those who are living in fear, please free them from the bondage that anxiety creates within. Remind them that You are still on the Throne and that You are still in control. Fully rain down the serenity that comes only from the Prince of Peace. Help those who are living in unease to trust You in this time so that in times to come we may rest assured that You will be faithful to be with us until the end of the age. We rest at the Throne of the Almighty such fears and cast them upon You (1 Peter 5:7), for Your burden is Light and Your Yoke is easy (Matthew 11:30), we know You cover us with Your wings (Psalm 91:4). In Jesus’ name, Amen
A Prayer for Those Treating the Sick
Father, We come to pray for those who are caring for the sick. It takes a kind and selfless heart to care for those who are sick, and so Father we pray for them. We pray that You would be their source of rest, their source of replenishment when weary, and their source of hope in such overwhelming times. Lord we know in Luke 6:38that whosoever pours out shall be given back in proportion, so we pray blessings upon these caregivers. We also pray for their health that they may not fall ill. Father protect them with a hedge of protection against the germs of coronavirus and help those who are giving to be protected as they nurse others back to health. Bless them, oh Lord.
